Who is responsible for your data

Konstytucji 3 Maja 24, 64-130 Rydzyna, Poland, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under number KRS 0000901481, tax ID (NIP) 6972293429, statistical number (REGON) 301701652.
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer, Paweł Małczak. You can reach him at +48 65 619 39 00 or biuro@4lan.eu. For any matter concerning your data this is the fastest route.
This is a translation for your convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version of this policy prevails.
What data we process and why
The scope depends on your relationship with us.
You are our subscriber
We process your first name and surname, home address and installation address, PESEL number, phone number, e-mail address, tax ID, identity card number, bank account number, IP address and network logs.
We do so for the following purposes:
- Providing telecommunications services - fixed internet access and access to the customer panel. The legal basis is performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Meeting legal obligations under tax and accounting law and the Polish Electronic Communications Law. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Establishing, pursuing and defending claims. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Direct marketing - offering new services, informing about changes to terms, offers and promotions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, and for electronic messages and phone calls, your consent.
Providing your data is voluntary, but refusing makes it impossible to conclude and perform an internet access contract.
You fill in the contact form on this website
We process the data you enter: name, phone number, e-mail address, town and the content of your message. We also record your IP address and browser information as protection against automated spam.
We use this data solely to answer your enquiry and present an offer. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, together with our legitimate interest in handling correspondence and preventing abuse, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
You join the waiting list
If your address is not covered by our network yet, you can leave your details through the "Join the waiting list" window. We then process your e-mail address, phone number and town, and - if you entered one in the checker - the street name.
We use this data only to notify you when the network reaches your address. The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to biuro@4lan.eu. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
You visit our website
The server records standard logs: IP address, date and time of the request, the address of the page visited, browser and operating system type. This serves security, abuse detection and fault diagnosis. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
How long we keep your data
- Subscriber data - for the term of the contract and afterwards for the limitation period for claims and the period required by tax and accounting law.
- Contact form enquiries - up to 24 months from the last contact, unless a contract is concluded earlier.
- Waiting list entries - until consent is withdrawn, no longer than 36 months from sign-up.
- Server logs - up to 12 months.
- Data processed on the basis of consent for marketing purposes - until consent is withdrawn.
Who we share data with
We share data only to the extent necessary with entities that support us in providing our services and that have undertaken to keep it confidential. In particular:
- providers of IT systems, hosting and server administration,
- the agency responsible for running and maintaining this website,
- e-mail service providers,
- our accounting office and law firm,
- electronic payment operators and banks, for settlement purposes,
- providers of analytics and advertising tools, only if you consent in the cookie banner,
- public authorities entitled to receive data under the law.
We do not sell your data and we do not make it available to third parties for their own marketing.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Subscriber data is processed exclusively within the European Economic Area.
Third-party tools used on this website work differently. If you consent to statistics or marketing, your data may reach Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, and through them their parent companies in the United States. These providers participate in the Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision, and additionally apply standard contractual clauses.
Regardless of consent, while the page loads your IP address reaches the providers of embedded content: Google Ireland Limited (Google Fonts typefaces) and Esri (coverage map tiles, ArcGIS Online). If you prefer the map not to make that connection, simply do not open the map section.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it,
- rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete,
- erase your data,
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including direct marketing,
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on it,
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
The supervisory authority in Poland is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl.

Right to object
You may object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest. We will then stop processing your data for those purposes unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, or grounds for establishing, exercising or defending claims. Where you object to direct marketing, we stop processing for that purpose unconditionally.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. This website uses them in three groups.
Essential - they store your cookie decision and the settings you choose yourself: light or dark theme, selected language, enabled accessibility features. The site does not work properly without them, so they do not require consent. They are kept in your browser's storage and never reach our server.
Statistical - Google Analytics 4, stream identifiers G-KE7HPEDD3V and G-VFNYBJLN1G. They show us how many people visit the site, which pages they use and how they find us. We load them only after your consent.
Marketing - Meta Pixel, identifier 1119146178628470. It lets us measure the effectiveness of ads on Facebook and Instagram and target them at people who visited our site. We load it only after your consent.
We handle consent with Google Consent Mode v2. Until you click "Accept", no analytics or marketing scripts are loaded at all, and Google and Meta receive no data from us about your visit.
You can change your decision at any time - clear the site data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again. You can also block cookies in your browser; note that blocking all files may disrupt how the site works.
Coverage checker and map
The coverage checker runs entirely in your browser. The town and street you type are not sent to our server and we do not store them anywhere. Coverage data is downloaded together with the page and searched locally on your device.
Your address reaches us only if you choose to submit the contact form or join the waiting list.
The coverage map loads its base layer from ArcGIS Online, a service of Esri. At that moment your IP address is visible to that provider.
Automated decisions and profiling
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that would produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you.
If you consent to marketing cookies, Meta Pixel may build a profile of your interests in order to tailor advertising. This has no bearing on the terms of your contract or the prices of our services. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk: HTTPS encryption, access control, backups and logging of operations on data. Access is limited to authorised persons bound by confidentiality.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the law or the way we process data changes. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top. We inform subscribers about material changes in the manner set out in their contract.
